Truventis is experienced working with venture backed start-ups, academic institutions, and hospital systems to provide online study promotion and highly targeted participant recruitment reducing both time and cost to study completion. To achieve this, Truventis uses highly targeted outreach across a variety of online and social media. In addition, we often use video communication to explain a complex study quickly to a lay audience.
Akili Interactive is pioneering the development of digital treatments through a high-quality action video game experience, through the collaboration of cognitive neuroscientists and technology designers. Truventis worked with Akili Interactive on two separate studies, helping to ensure they remain within the planned timeframe using aggressive and highly targeted online and social media recruitment strategies.

The efforts of both campaigns were highly successful. In the STARS study, the introduction of digital marketing strategies for recruiting significantly increased interest in the study, thereby cutting overall recruiting time and cost. In the MDD study, the use of social media such as Facebook allowed individuals to self select for the study or be made aware of it through family and friends.
Cortica Healthcare is conducting a research study in conjunction with Akili Interactive. This brain training study for children with ADHD aims to assess whether Project EVO, a scientifically designed video game-like technology, improves ADHD symptoms and changes brain function in children 8 – 12 years of age. To support this study, Truventis created a mobile-responsive landing page to explain the study and collect information from potential subjects.
Washington University Creativ Lab
The Creativ Lab at the University of Washington focuses interventions that are designed to improve the mental health and well-being of people around the world drawing upon the latest advances in neuroscience, technology and psychological science. Truventis worked with the Creativ Lab on two separate studies to speed up recruitment while keeping participant acquisition costs low.
